Lumecca® IPL is a powerful facial laser treatment that uses intense pulsed light (IPL) on the skin – leaving it tightened, toned, clear and revitalised without surgery. Lumecca’s® Crystal Ice Diamond Tip stimulates collagen, and its state of the art laser technology penetrates deep into the skin. Some treatments are relaxing or invigorating. There can be mild tingling, but no discomfort.
Lumecca® is not suitable if you have a cold sores or are taking photosensitizing medication. In addition, if you have a history of skin cancer in the area treatment will require medical clearance. Your skin will be assessed in discussion with you during your consultation.
Regular treatments have long term benefits for many skin issues, including reducing pore size and redness, clearing acne and improving acne scarring, reducing scarring, fading broken capillaries and evening out skin tone. If you have a specific skin area you would like to discuss, please get in touch.
Avoid makeup and extremes of heat or cold for 24 hours, and sun exposure or saunas for a further week. It is imperative that you wear an SPF of at least 50 after your treatment and going forward to protect the skin.
