Microneedling Facial

Resurfacing the skin for a smooth, even skin tone and reduction of fine lines

What is a microneedling facial?

A microneedling facial (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) is a New Age facial that uses a device to power a cartridge of tiny needles into the surface layers of the skin – usually on the face or neck. Microneedling works at a far higher speed than the conventional Derma Roller treatment, which penetrates the skin only when rolled over its surface. This advanced technology means it is able to penetrate the skin up to 90,000 times per minute – producing more visible (and youthful!) results for you.

Why choose a microneedling facial?

Microneedling achieves softer wrinkles and plumps up fine lines, reduces pore size and achieves an even skin tone. It can also treat acne scars. The process of microneedling encourages your skin to repair itself, resulting in a thicker dermis and a more youthful look.

Immaculate Touch is proud to offer the favoured facial enjoyed by stars such as Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie and many more celebrities.

FAQs

The needles that penetrate your face and neck area create thousands of controlled and safe ‘micro-traumas’. This encourages the skin to start its natural healing process and during this stage the production of collagen and elastin is induced. These are both recognised as vital and key ingredients in the fight against anti-ageing.

Please use SPF of a minimal of 50 after this facial.

The needles are very fine. There can be mild discomfort, but a topical anaesthetic cream may be used if required.

Your body’s natural healing processes work instantly, and you should notice dramatic results between 4-6 weeks after your treatment.

Microneedling is suitable for most candidates, including breastfeeding women. It should be avoided if you have a skin rash or an infection.

Results should last for up to 6 weeks after your skin has reached its peak post-treatment condition. At that stage you can book a follow-up treatment.

Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours after treatment.

Unfortunately, this treatment is not suitable if you have keloid scarring.
