PRP/PRF Face & Hair Rejuvenation

Natural and effective rejuvenation for the face and hair

What is PRP /PRF?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Plasma Rich Fibrin (PRF) each contain high concentrations of platelets. These amazing cells stimulate the rapid healing and cellular repair of the skin’s tissues. PRP is an effective and natural treatment that boosts collagen stimulation and helps generate a more youthful skin.

Why choose PRP /PRF?

Because PRP /PRF comes from your own blood, you are effectively using your own booster cells to naturally smooth, repair and improve the texture of your skin. Not only is it good for ageing skin, it has brilliant results for wrinkles, acne scarring and stretch marks. It can also achieve improvements in hair restoration for both men and women.

FAQs

There can be mild discomfort, but an anaesthetic cream, applied prior to your treatment, will ease and reduce this.

A small amount of blood will be safely taken from each individual. Using a centrifuge, this is spun to separate the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Plasma Rich Fibrin (PRF) which create the serum. This will then be injected in the area to be treated by your qualified and trained clinician.

This will depend on individual skin type, life style and the area being treated. We recommend a treatments every 2-3 weeks, and you can expect to see great results after 8-12 weeks. Maintenance treatments can then be booked every 6 months.

This treatment is excellent for:

  • Improving and tightening lax and sagging skin
  • Wrinkles, fine lines and skin with a poor texture or uneven tone
  • Puffiness around the eyes
  • Scarring (including acne scars)
  • Stretch marks
  • Hair loss and hair restoration

After treatment we recommend that you avoid extremes of temperature (including hot showers and saunas) and exercise for 24 hours, and sun exposure (including sunbeds) for up to 7 days.

To reduce the likelihood of bruising, avoid smoking 6 hours before treatment and avoid alcohol consumption 12 hours before treatment.

Unfortunately, this treatment is not suitable if you have keloid scarring.
