Thread Vein Removal

Say goodbye to unsightly thread veins

What is thread vein removal?

Thread veins (also called spider veins or telangiectasia) are a common part of the ageing process. The treatment to remove them is similar to our Immaculate Touch non-surgical plasma skin tightening and will give you effective and confidence-boosting results.

How does thread vein removal work?

A tiny needle tip is inserted just under the skin where it delivers a precise pulse of heat energy right next to the thread vein. This accurate procedure collapses and ‘shuts down’ the unsightly vein instantly and permanently. Your body naturally absorbs the affected tissue – leaving you with clear, unblemished skin.

FAQs

Initial discoloration and redness of your skin will go away between 1 and 3 days. Tiny scars will dissipate during the next 2 weeks, leaving no noticeable marks. Any scabbing will heal naturally and you should avoid rubbing the affected area. You may experience slight swelling, but this will quickly disappear. Avoid sun exposure (including sunbeds) and extremes of heat and cold.

Most sessions are 60 minutes

This will depend on how large and badly affected the area is. Many people will only require one session.

You may feel the sensation of gentle pinpricks of the ‘pen’, but any discomfort is minimal and anaesthetic cream is not required.

No. Although these are sometimes confused, they are not the same and Immaculate Touch only provides removal treatment for thread veins. Varicose veins are blue or flesh coloured; they may look twisted and can bulge out of the skin. Thread veins are smaller, closer to the skin on the face or legs, and often seen as red or blue coloured with a jagged ‘spider web’ appearance.

The original thread vein will not. However, as they are part of the natural ageing process, you may get them again in the same area of your body in the future.
