Beauty Product Reviews – Georgie’s Little Treasures (Nov 22)

Welcome to the first of my beauty product reviews,

Do you ever have those nights when you lay in bed ready to sleep but instead start thinking about those things you’ve been meaning to buy and keep forgetting? Or maybe you’re in search of an item to help with a skin, hair or ageing concern that’s looming over you?

Well welcome to ME! This happens regularly, usually at night, and this is when I take to Google to search for reviews and recommendations for whatever my current beauty dilemma may be.

Sooo why am I telling you this?!

Well through, shall we say, lots of trial and error, wasted money on beauty product purchases with empty promises (and also products I use in clinic on myself and my lovely clients), I have found some products or should we say ‘little treasures’ I believe everyone should have in their makeup bags.

So from time to time, in between my busy clinic days, I’m going to bring you these blogs and tell you about them and where you can find them.

My first amazing beauty product find is an eye mask

I’ve never really been a fan of these and I have almost thought they were a bit of a fad but I received this one from my Liberty of London Beauty Dropbox and I have gone on to order more.

I must say, this eye mask did everything it promised and more…. Sarah Chapman London, Platinum Stem Cell Eye Mask is not your usual eye mask that just treats below the eye. This one treats below the eye, over the top eyelid, and above the brow, not forgetting the crow’s feet area.

The beauty product claims that “A cutting-edge complex of advanced scientific actives instantly smooths lines, lifts and hydrates slackening, crepey eyelids, and depuffs and brightens dark circles”.

And it doesn’t disappoint – As I said at the very beginning, I was never a fan of eye masks and didn’t see much difference after application of any used before now, but these are now a “must-have” that I put on prior to any occasion. They are by no means cheap but they definitely do what they claim to and are worth the price tag.

You can purchase these eye masks via many different websites, but I always recommend checking out the Look Fantastic website where there is usually a discount code to be had.

My second find is the Revitabrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner

Over the years, many of us have over-plucked and some of us have lost brow hair due to various ailments or it could just be down to ageing itself.
Revitabrow Advanced is a product with a unique BioPeptin complex including peptides, lipids, biotin, and green tea extract which condition and strengthen brows to protect against breakage. It also improves flexibility and shine, thereby resulting in more beautiful-looking eyebrows.

I do find that when used correctly, this stuff really does help keep my brows full and encourages growth where perhaps it has got a little thin.
I am also a fan of brow lamination, so I find this helps to keep the brows in good condition and consistently growing ready for my brows to be done again.

In my opinion, there are so many brow serums on the market that do not do what they claim to, but this one has never failed me.

My third find is Liposourcils Expert

Leading on from the fact that I like to have my eyebrows laminated, I’ll talk today about the last, but by no means least treasure that was actually bought for me as a gift. Like Revitabrow, it’s another product that is there to encourage brow growth and condition, but this one also helps with the colour of the eyebrow hairs, helping them to naturally darken.

Liposourcils Expert Eyebrow is said to revive and intensify your brows naturally, with its expert formula “enriched with the mythical botanical complex, silk proteins, and clinically proven peptides”. It promises to extend the life of the eyebrow with fewer hairs falling out prematurely, creating a more dense appearance to frame the face perfectly.

At around £50 a tube, I used to tell my lamination enthusiasts that this was a great product to buy as the brush on the end is like a large mascara brush and keeps eyebrow hairs in place so not only can you maintain the lamination itself, but you are also moisturising and conditioning at the same time.

This was never recommended for brow growth, but I have seen many clients coming back with fuller thicker eyebrows than before – even for some who had no eyebrow grow for quite some time.

I will continue to share my “little treasures” that I find along the way, and if ever you have any dilemmas, feel free to email me with your questions.

Regards,
Georgie
