With Christmas now a distant memory and the start of the New Year bringing with it all its resolutions, we thought we’d take this opportunity to give you a brief overview of some of the most popular beauty treatments currently on offer at our clinic.
As many of our treatments can be used in conjunction with each other for an extra boost, why not kick start your year and go ahead and treat yourself?
Just take a look at the amazing results for one of our beautiful clients above!
Semi-permanent makeup
As you might expect, our most popular semi-permanent makeup treatment is microblade eyebrows but in conjunction with this, we also offer semi-permanent lip liner and colour as well as eyeliner as separate treatments. This is a great example of different treatments that can be combined into one session, which can save you both time and money as there’s no need to make different appointments on different days.
Another often-overlooked factor that many don’t consider is that certain types of semi-permanent makeup treatments can also be of benefit for certain health conditions. If you visit the link, you’ll see that we regularly treat clients with medical conditions such as alopecia (hair loss) and also those who’d like to try and camouflage their unsightly scars. As a side note (and from a personal perspective), I find these sessions especially rewarding as it’s good to know that my work isn’t just about making people look great for that important night out or dinner date, I’m also helping people regain their lost confidence due to circumstances that are quite often beyond their control due to the hand that life has dealt at that moment in time.
Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a relatively new treatment device that combines microneedling and radio frequency with the ability to mould the fat at a subdermal level. What this means is that in just 1-3 sessions it can morph the ageing features on your face and body to create a more youthful look. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical procedure with incredible, rapid results together with the benefit of minimal invasion and recovery time. Areas of the body with wrinkles or acne scarring are all suitable for treatment and Morpheus can be used on all skin types.
Profhilo
This treatment has quite literally taken the world by storm and really has been one of the most talked-about treatments in recent years. I really love this treatment as it’s a fairly easy procedure and we’ve seen some amazing results at our clinic. The bottom line is, our clients love it! If you take a look at this blog post, you’ll see the amazing before and after pics where you can judge the results for yourself.
There are several key reasons why I think Profhilo is so popular and to name a few its speedy treatment time whilst in clinic coupled with visible results in just 4 weeks makes it a favourite in our clinic today.
Similar to dermal fillers (scroll down for more on this), Profhilo also contains hyaluronic acid that’s designed to complement your body’s own natural chemistry by restoring and stimulating the hyaluronic acid that’s already present within you. Not only that, it also helps with the production of more collagen and elastin, all of which help to keep your skin looking fuller and plumper, resulting in a more youthful-looking you.
In summary, it’s relatively pain-free and the results are long-lasting. In my opinion, it produces a far more natural appearance than dermal fillers – it’s liquid gold for the skin. Being that it’s not a filler, it’s far less daunting for the newbies to the world of aesthetic treatments. REMEMBER… This will not create volume, only feed the skin with all it needs to be smooth plump and more refined not forgetting that airbrushed appearance.
If you’d like to know more, head on over to our Profhilo treatment page for a more detailed overview of what the procedure entails.
Million Dollar Facial
This is still a relatively new procedure that incorporates a number of techniques all combined into one convenient treatment. It’s difficult to cram a complete description of all the benefits into this short blog post so I’ll try and summarise what the treatment involves together with some of the main benefits.
I often like to describe it as ” working your skin from the outside in”. Although far more in-depth than described here, it’s essentially a three-step process:
- We perform a deep double cleanse to the skin.
- We remove the ‘peach fuzz’ otherwise known as vellus hair and dead skin cells whilst dermaplaning.
- Lymphatic drainage massage to flush out any toxins, micro-needling and finishing off with a hyaluronic acid mask.
These three steps, when combined, produce amazing results. The procedure increases the hydration level of your skin, which helps it to absorb creams more effectively.
If you’d like to get the full story of why this procedure is still creating a buzz in the beauty world, have a read of our Million Dollar Facial treatment page to find out more details of the process from start to finish.
Dermal Fillers
Since I mentioned dermal fillers earlier, here’s a brief summary of why this particular treatment is still incredibly popular at our clinic. Dermal fillers (aka “hyaluronic acid fillers”) are injected under the skin’s surface and are ideal for smoothing out wrinkles in the skin and replacing lost structure in the face due to the natural ageing process. They’re commonly applied around the nose and mouth to fill in those unwanted creases and folds (often referred to as ‘bracket lines’). They’re also used to create volume in the cheeks and are great for sculpting your cheekbones or filling out your lips. If you’ve already heard about dermal fillers and have seen the results in others, you’ll understand why this tried and tested treatment is still as popular as ever. See our dermal fillers treatment page for more information.
Anti-wrinkle injections
Again, this is still a firm favourite with our clients. As the title suggests, anti-wrinkle injections are designed to relax your muscles and smooth the fine lines and wrinkles. The most common areas for this type of treatment are in the forehead/frown area and around the eyes. We do however offer more advanced treatments, for example, to stop underarm sweating otherwise known as Hypohydrosis using botulinum and well as gummy smile relaxant and lip flip.
If this is something that you’re tempted to consider now the New Year has begun, you can get the full details here.
Plasma skin tightening
Aside from microblading, plasma skin tightening was actually one of the original treatments we offered when our clinic first opened many moons ago… and it’s still one of my favourites. Sometimes called ‘Fibroblast’ it uses plasma technology to stimulate an instant contraction and tightening of the skin. It’s another one of our non-surgical procedures, meaning there’s absolutely no cutting or stitching involved. Amongst other things, this versatile treatment can be used for skin tightening as well as thread vein removal.
Whilst some of our treatments are quite specific in nature, plasma skin tightening has stood the test of time because of the broad variety of scenarios it can be used with, including the ever-popular non-surgical eye lift. Summary
I hope we’ve given you a small taste of what’s on offer at our Kent clinic but, as always, if there’s anything we’ve missed or there’s simply something you’d like a few more details about, either take a look at our complete range of treatments or get in touch to get your questions answered.
Either way, I look forward to hearing how I can help with creating the ‘New You’ of 2023
