Welcome to the second of my beauty products reviews. A little later than one would have hoped but sometimes that thing called ‘life’ gets a little busy and the time just seems to fly.

Anyway, here I am bringing you more of my top-performing beauty finds that aren’t hard on the pockets and perform brilliantly…

I’d just like to add at this point, I am not gifted these items to recommend, nor am I in any way affiliated with the brands, but I do like to find products that deliver as promised, and when I do, I love sharing my finds!!

Here goes.

Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial

Probably my favourite of them all today is the Sarah Chapman overnight facial.

I received this as a present from a friend and have since gone on to order a bottle each time I’ve run out. As said in my last little treasures blog, Libertys is who I use to order my Sarah Chapman items as their loyalty program is amazing and you get vouchers each time you spend.

Just as an example, from the vouchers I’ve let build up I just got the 2023 Christmas Calendar and £120.00 off. So it’s worthwhile! ‘Look Fantastic’ however, usually hold discounts on Sarah Chapman throughout the year also.

Anyway, why do I love it?

Well, what’s not to love? The texture is an oil but is so quickly absorbed and it smells like your favourite spa retreat. I just find it my holy grail and last step at night, in fact, it’s in my bedside drawer and is my little ritual before I settle down to sleep.

Here’s what Sarah herself says about the amazing product and I have to say, it delivers all as described.

Obagi Professional-C Microdermabrasion Polish

The award-winning Obagi range is one of the most recommended brands which is chosen for its efficacy, science-backed formulas and ability to minimise some of the most troublesome skin issues. It’s important to note that while Obagi products can be more expensive, many customers feel that the results are worth the investment due to amazing results that deliver every time.

One of my favs is Obagi Professional-C Microdermabrasion Polish + Mask 30%. This dual-action facial polish + mask exfoliates skin to prepare it for a powerful infusion of vitamin C. Designed to encourage a brighter, smoother and more youthful complexion, the Obagi Professional-C Microdermabrasion Polish + Mask 30% contains a unique dual-action technology to boost the bioavailability of Vitamin C by exfoliating before the mask treatment, optimizing absorption and boosting results.

It’s great as a weekly exfoliation treatment or a ‘go-to’ prior to an event to get a healthy glow. Either way, it’s in my drawer and I wouldn’t be without this little pot of exfoliating magic.

So, back to brows…

Offering microblading in-clinic, I have noticed there seems to be an ever-growing trend of clients wanting more precise groomed eyebrows and with a market full of brow gels, promising to keep the brows in place all day, it can be tricky to know which ones work and which ones do not!!

I personally have tried many, as I am also a fan of the laminated Brow, and this next product always delivers and never lets me down.

24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel

This is a clear gel that you use to comb through the brows (click to view product). After a few minutes, the brows are set and there they stay until you remove all makeup. What I love about this product is that it doesn’t leave any chalky residue or build-up. Nobody wants to look like they have white flakes in their brows and I did find some brands I used had this downfall.

Lastly! One for the defined lip lovers.

I myself have had an ombré lip treatment which we also offer in-clinic but sometimes I want a little more. I had my treatment more for definition than a permanent bold colour, so this next little find is one I share with all my clients who aren’t quite ready to jump on board the ombré lips trend but want something long-lasting.

REFY Lip Sculpt

REFY Lip Sculpt is a dual-ended Lip Liner and Setter available in six shades to suit every skin tone and create the perfect neutral lip.

Lip Sculpt contains a creamy, blendable liner that smoothly applies to the lips and has been developed to feel lightweight, fill and smooth fine lines while allowing you to define and create your desired look. I blend it when using to fill almost the whole lip and the setter it comes with lasts and lasts.

Their promise is 10hrs but I find mine lasts longer on some days more than others. I’ve gone on to buy every colour as, after a holiday, I can tan quite well and I then like a brighter lip.

Have a little Google at the products I’ve mentioned and check their reviews. I recommend in clinic to clients who ask who have all gone into buy and have loved as I do!
